On a dark clear night, the sky looks quiet and peaceful. The stars appear as little pinpoints of light on a cold, black canvas. It may surprise you that the Sun is also a star. Indeed, the Sun is only one of over 100 billion stars in our galaxy, the Milky Way. It’s awe inspiring to think that each one of those little points is a star like our Sun, and many of those stars have planets that orbit them.
