The Space Science Institute (SSI) has collaborated with NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) to develop an interactive, traveling mini-exhibit called the Space Weather Center.

This exciting new exhibit shows visitors how space weather (disturbances in space driven by solar activity) plays a role in their everyday lives. The exhibit incorporates engaging interactives and stunning graphics, as well as near real-time data from NASA missions currently studying the Sun and near-Earth space environment. The Space Weather Center will be available for rent or purchase in early 2000. It will debue at the Denver Museum of Natural History from March 17 through May 31.

If you are interested in this mini-exhibit, please call Susan Solari at (303) 492-5184 or via e-mail solari@colorado.edu

The Space Weather Center is brought to you by the Space Science Institute as part of the National Space Weather Program. Funding is provided by NASA and the National Science Foundation.
