Space Weather Center is a collaborative effort between educators and
scientists. Such partnerships are essential for providing high quality
exhibits which accurately communicate current scientific research
to the general public. |

The exhibit has been developed in partnership between the Space Science
Institute and NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), a leader in developing
and managing space missions to study Sun-Earth connections. The project
is funded by NASA, the National Science Foundation, and the following
missions currently studying Sun-Earth connections:

- the Solar Heleospheric Observatory (SOHO),
- the high Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager (HESSI),
- the Imager for Magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration (IMAGE),
- the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE),
- and the International Solar Terrestrial Physics program (ISTP), an
International collaborative effort involving missions, ground-based
observations, and simulations.
